Apps
The parts of your project people open, and a preview of each.
A project can ship more than one thing people open — a customer site and a staff console, say, or a marketing page alongside the product. This screen lists what went out in the current release, and lets you look at each one.
A list of the apps in the current deployment, each with its address and a "routed" badge, beside a live preview of the selected app.
What is in the list
Everything shipped in the release currently on this stage. Not everything in your project — everything deployed, which is a narrower and more useful list: it is what your customers can reach right now.
Each entry shows whether it is routed — whether it has an address people can actually visit. An unrouted app is built and shipped but has no front door yet, so there is nothing to preview. The screen says so rather than showing a broken frame.
The preview
Select an app and it opens beside the list. This is the real thing on the real stage, not a picture of it — the same page your customers get.
Open gives you it in its own tab, which is what you want for anything more than a glance.
Two ways this screen can be empty
They mean different things and the screen distinguishes them.
No active deployment means this stage has not been deployed yet. Deploy it, then come back.
No apps in this deployment means the deploy worked, but it contained nothing people open. Perfectly normal for a project that is all behind-the-scenes, and a surprise for one that is not.
A preview showing an old version is almost always a release that has not gone out yet. This screen reflects the deployment, so anything you changed since then will not be here until you deploy.
Where to go next
- Deployments — the release this list comes from.
- App preview — watching your app while you are still building it.
- Domains — giving an app an address of your own.
